Student Travel Award Winners:


27th Annual Conference of the Canadian Biomaterials Society
Quebec City, May 20-23 2009, Laval University

Fourteen (14) Travel Awards (TA) of 500 CDN$ each have been made available directly from the conference budget and thanks to the commitment of our sponsors (see sponsors page) to help CBS students to attend the conference.

Students from all Canadian Universities outside the Province of Quebec which submitted an abstract to 27th CBS Annual Conference were eligible. All abstract were evaluated and scored independently by three reviewers from the Scientific Committee. The Travel Awards have been assigned based on the ranking, and on considering the number of abstracts submitted by each group.

The award will be paid by check to the awardees after the conference. Attendance is mandatory; In any case the award will be paid to a student without attendance.
