Why should I become a member?

Membership in the Canadian Biomaterials Society is the best bargain around! It not only entitles you to reduced registration costs at the CBS/SCB annual conference, but it can save you several times the membership fee if you attend the annual conferences of the U.S. Society for Biomaterials or any other member of the international biomaterials societies’ community (IUS-BSE). For instance, CBS members are eligible for reduced registration fees at the World Biomaterials Congress in Chengdu, China in 2012.

How much does it cost?

Membership dues for the year 2012 are as follows:

Student member: $25 CDN
Regular member: $50 CDN
Corporate member: $100 CDN

How do I join?

To become a member of the CBS/SCB, or to renew your current membership, we encourage you to use our new, convenient and secure on-line credit card payment system - just scroll down below to join in minutes. You will immediately be given access to the members-only section of the CBS/SCB website using the online registration tool.
